Diamond Cutter
Facets compiled to make a beating entity
each pump fills veins
that spread into every corner
every possible place
with each beat and pump, the facets
the facets like diamonds
A stone, unbreakable
thats what you think
Like a chisel, hack away
at the diamond, chipping away facets
each piece lays abandoned
under toes, unnoticed
precious, now unnoticed
who will see them
for the beautiful jewels they are
while they lay abandoned?
King of all days,
King who wears jewels on a crown
stands firm on His throne
picks up pieces
and makes them whole
surrender your precious
to the maker
to the creator
let go of the pieces
so He can make you whole
He seeks brokenness
wanting to make it whole
like an uncut diamond,
marvelous in splendor
untouched and pure
cornucopia of colors
and facets
many many facets
Nothing can scratch an unbroken diamond.
Nothing can break me now.
'Agape' is the Greek word for love. Specifically, the love for God. Therefore it is appropriate to use 'agape' to describe this poetry. This is Christ-inspired. This is spoken word.
About Me

- Agape Love Poetry
- Romans 8:38-39 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
